Teaching Minor
The teaching minor helps prepare undergraduates to teach in multiple contexts and settings. While this program is ideal for candidates interested in entering a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) program at either the Middle School or Secondary levels, other students may find the minor beneficial for other occupational interests that involve teaching and/or training children or adults.
This program consists of the eighteen (18) hours of required coursework related to the field of education and is designed to complement any major program offered at LaGrange College. The coursework will provide foundational knowledge and skills related to teaching. Additionally, students are encouraged to apply their knowledge and skills in an internship in a related area of interest.
